Field Rules


The purpose of ECRCC is to promote the sport of flying radio controlled aircraft in accordance with the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) Safety Code.

* Current AMA Membership required to fly.

* Only model aircraft radio frequencies allowed.

* No flying at an altitude above 400 feet.

* Do NOT fly in a careless, reckless, or dangerous manner.

* Name, Address, and AMA number are required on all aircraft.

* Either current AMA or ECRCC membership card must be placed on the frequency board when you are using the frequency.

* No metal blade propellers allowed.

* Ground check required before first flight of the day, or after repairs/ modifications to the aircraft.

* Initial turn, after take-off, to be made away from the pit area.

* No taxiing in the pit area.

* Rotary wing aircraft must take-off, hover, and land in the designated helipad area.

* No flying over pit or spectator area.

* No alcoholic beverages allowed at the ECRCC field.

* All visitors must be accompanied by a current ECRCC member.

* Everyone is responsible for cleaning up behind themselves at the field.
